HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a PRN position who will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services. As part of a dynamic team, the Respiratory Therapist will utilize state-of-the-art technology to treat patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. In alignment with our committed staff and using extensive rehabilitation resources, the chosen candidate will play a vital role in managing patient care and enhancing recovery rates.
Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary issues.
Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
Engage with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate patient progress.
Educate patients and families about treatments and respiratory health management.
Ensure operation, cleanliness, and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
Proficiency in respiratory care therapeutic procedures
Strong understanding of pulmonary function tests and pulmonary rehabilitation
Ability to manage a variety of high-stress situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literacy, particularly in healthcare software and EMR systems
