**Exciting Opportunity for a Compassionate RN in LDRP/OB NIGHTS!****Job Description:**Join our dynamic nursing team as a Registered Nurse I (RN I) in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families through exceptional care. This is not just a job; it's a chance to bring your compassion and skills to a vibrant healthcare environment!**Key Responsibilities:**- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.- Deliver direct patient care across the lifespan while promoting optimal health outcomes.- Provide clear, culturally sensitive education to patients and families, supporting health literacy and successful transitions of care.- Direct and supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other ancillary personnel.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team.- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and ongoing professional development.- Float to other departments as needed, with appropriate orientation and training.- Perform additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations and patient needs.**General Qualifications:**- Current New Mexico RN license or active Multi-State Compact (eNLC) license.- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from the American Heart Association (or equivalent).- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.- Education and clinical experience that provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for the assigned department.- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills.- Ability to deliver compassionate, culturally competent care to patients of all ages (pediatric through geriatric).- Strong team player with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.- Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.**Physical, Environmental & Psychological Considerations:**- Frequent exposure to bloodborne pathogens, body fluids, infectious diseases, and biohazardous materials.- Work occurs primarily in a temperature-controlled hospital setting with occasional exposure to varied sounds, odors, and emotionally challenging situations.- Physically able to lift, position, and transfer patients using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment.- Ability to work effectively under stress, respond calmly to emergencies, and maintain strong problem-solving and coping skills.- Team-oriented, adaptable, and resilient in dynamic clinical situations.**Department-Specific Qualifications:**- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required.- OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE certification required within 12 months.- SAFER NM Technician certification preferred.- Skilled in all aspects of perinatal care, labor support, delivery, and newborn assessment.- Knowledge of sterile technique and sterile field maintenance.**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):**At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
